Junior Innovators Age 5-7

Junior Innovators Assessment Class:

A hands-on exploratory class assessing basic mechanical understanding and problem-solving skills for 5-7-year-olds using simple robotics kits.

Following the initial assessment class, students will embark on a creative journey, crafting projects across diverse themes in the next ten sessions.

Introduction to Robotics

Story-based Robotics

Embrace the power of the sun: create solar-powered devices like miniature ovens or lights to learn about photovoltaic cells

Explore the potential of water: construct mini water wheels or hydropower generators to learn about hydrokinetic energy

Nature-inspired Robotics

Harness the power of wind: design and construct wind turbines or wind-powered vehicles to understand aerodynamics.

Discover electricity: build basic circuits and learn how electricity lights up our world.

Dive into mechanics: learn about levers, gears, pulleys, and create small machines to understand principles of motion.
